Franco-American Research

The Franco-American Research partnership bridges world-class expertise from MIT and France’s Public Policy Institute to advance education policy. Led by Nobel Laureate Joshua Angrist, it harnesses data and research to drive impactful change.

This collaboration unites MIT’s Blueprint Labs (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US) with the Public Policy Institute (IPP) in France, combining IPP’s extensive datasets from the Ministry of Education with MIT’s renowned research capabilities. 

Under the leadership of Joshua Angrist (Economics, 2021), the partnership aims to generate evidence-based insights that inform and improve education systems, fostering innovation and equity in policy-making.
