Amandine – Creating lasting impact

Published on 27 February 2026

I was a mentor for several years, supporting multiple mentees. I connect them with my network, help them structure their ideas, and guide their approach.

Amandine MAQUET Global Head of Business Continuity and Managing Director, Ardian

My name is Amandine. I have been working at Ardian for over 20 years, holding various positions until I created the business continuity team where I work now.

I was a mentor for several years, supporting multiple mentees. I connect them with my network, help them structure their ideas, and guide their approach. All my experiences have been very positive, and my mentees have thrived.

It is rewarding to see that I have contributed, even in a small way, to their success. It is a very flexible activity; it can be done online or in person, even at the office. It does not take much time, but the impact is significant, and you truly feel useful. I learn a lot from it, and I try to pass these values on to my children as well.

The Foundation does an excellent job and has supported me a lot throughout my mentoring journey. The partner charities also organise events and gatherings for mentors and mentees to meet, where you also end up connecting with colleagues who participate in the program.

Additionally, I have participated in a Christmas gifts wrapping initiative for children from underprivileged backgrounds. This year, I did it with my daughter, who brought her toys and wrapped the gifts with me and other volunteers. I believe such initiatives should be encouraged; it was a great way to realise our privileged position in the world and the importance of sharing.
